Quality Manager - Operations and Team Leadership (m/f)
Technical positions

21.7.2026

Quality that is created on the production floor. Not behind closed office doors.

At Project Controls, we’re looking for an experienced Quality Manager who will serve as a partner to both production and customers and won’t hesitate to be right where quality is truly created every day.

This is not purely a managerial position. Approximately 60–70% of your work will involve hands-on operations—resolving customer complaints, supporting production, conducting audits, analyzing problems, communicating with customers and suppliers, and identifying corrective actions. The rest of your time will be devoted to leading the quality team, developing the quality management system, and further improving processes.

If you enjoy working with quality in practice and want the opportunity to truly influence production results, we’d love to meet you.

Quality Manager - Operations and Team Leadership (m/f)

Why Project Controls?

You’ll find our products in vehicles from brands such as Škoda, Audi, Porsche, Bentley, and Lamborghini. Quality is one of our key pillars, and thanks to our in-house development and manufacturing, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the entire process—from the initial design through to mass production.

What You Can Expect

  • Daily support for production in resolving quality issues
  • Managing customer and supplier complaints, including 8D reports
  • Conducting customer, internal, and certification audits
  • Responsibility for the quality management system in accordance with IATF 16949, VDA, and customer requirements
  • Collaboration on APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and other quality tools
  • Communication with customers and suppliers
  • Monitoring and evaluating quality KPIs
  • Leading and developing the quality team
  • Collaborating with production, logistics, project management, and R&D to improve processes

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Has several years of experience in automotive quality
  • Is familiar with IATF 16949, VDA, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 8D
  • Has experience with customer audits and communicating with OEMs or Tier 1 customers
  • Is capable of leading a team while also being willing to perform hands-on work
  • Is able to analyze problems and find practical solutions
  • Is fluent in English for day-to-day communication

What will be your goals during the first few months?

  • Take responsibility for the quality department
  • Get to know our production processes and customer requirements
  • Gradually become the production team’s main partner in resolving quality issues
  • Take charge of the quality team
  • Establish a collaborative approach so that quality truly supports production, rather than merely monitoring it

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • A performance-based bonus system
  • A company car available for personal use
  • Flexible working hours
  • The option to work from home occasionally
  • Support for continuing education
  • Opportunities to implement your own ideas and improvements
  • A position at a stable Czech company that supplies its products to leading global automakers

If you’re looking for an environment where quality truly matters and the results of your work will be visible, we’d love to meet you.
