Job description
Management and development of the logistics team - motivation, training and setting internal processes
Optimization of inventory - evaluation of turnover, setting minimum and maximum stock levels
Creation and maintenance of process maps - documentation of material flows and identification of improvements
Definition of logistics concepts - design of solutions for new projects including cost calculations
Management of the production planning system - ensuring correct production volumes and deadlines
Setting up the Kanban system - optimization of material flow and inventory
Cooperation with external partners - selection, Negotiating and monitoring subcontractor performance
Minimizing internal costs - optimizing internal material flow and handling
Responsibility for stock levels and planning recalls - ensuring on-time and reliable deliveries
Monitoring KPIs - stock levels, OTIF and other KPIs
Required
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role in industrial or commercial logistics
Experience in team leadership and project management
Knowledge of Kanban principles, MRP/ERP systems and lean management
Analytical thinking and the ability to design practical solutions
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Active knowledge of English (written and verbal) due to frequent communication with suppliers and customers
